Lighthouse Gallery

I have found that photographing lighthouses is a great way to develop my photography skills. The haze of the ocean and the variations of the sky during the different times of the day require that you learn to use all the manual adjustments available in Canon digital cameras. Some of these structures data back to 1783. Many states have guided tours and tour clubs that will teach you the history and show you where you can find all the lighthouses open to the public. These lighthouse photos are taken during my business travels of New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Indiana and Florida beginning in December of 2006.
